Case study · Lead generation

Aspire 1 Coaching: from word of mouth to a funnel that runs itself.

Mazin Alneami had a good coaching service and no way to capture a lead. Everything came through people he already knew. I built the whole path, from the first click to the follow-up email, as one of my first projects.

The brief.

Generate leads. That was the whole of it. Mazin had clients and results, and nothing on the internet that could turn a stranger into a conversation. A prospect who found him had two options: message him, or leave. Most left.

What was built.

The landing page. One page with one job: get the ebook into someone's hands in exchange for a name and an email. Headline, the offer, what is inside, real before-and-after photographs of his clients, and a form. No navigation, nowhere else to go.

The ebook. The Code to Getting Shredded, a designed guide rather than a Word document with a logo on it. It is the reason to hand over an email, so it had to look like something worth paying for.

The pipeline. Every sign-up lands in a CRM pipeline in GoHighLevel, so Mazin can see who has come in, what they have opened and who is worth a message.

The email sequence. The ebook is delivered automatically, then a short run of follow-up emails does the nurturing he did not have time to do by hand.

What it did.

He went from nothing to a lead-generation funnel that works while he sleeps. That is the result, and I am not going to dress it up with a number he has not given me.

Two honest notes. This was one of my first client projects and I charged £500, which is where lead-magnet pages still start today. And Aspire 1 has since grown into a gym, so the funnel built for the online coaching business is probably not the one running now. The work did its job for the business it was built for.

Outstanding service from Gareth! He took care of everything, from setting up automations to creating lead magnets. Excited for what we can achieve together. Highly recommend!

What I would tell another coach.

  • A lead magnet is a small funnel, not a page. The page, the thing you give away, the CRM and the follow-up are one build. Leave one out and the rest leaks.
  • Make the giveaway look worth paying for. Nobody trades an email for a document they could have written themselves.
  • Use your own clients' photographs. Real results in a coaching niche cannot be faked, and people can tell.

Want something like this? It starts on a Tuesday.

A lead-magnet page with the guide, the CRM and the email sequence is scoped on the call and starts from £500. A full site is one sprint, from £1,000.
