SEO services, done by the person you spoke to.
SEO services for UK small businesses, from £500 a month: the pages your buyers search for, the links that get them noticed, the technical upkeep, and the layer that gets you cited in Google's AI answers and ChatGPT. One freelance SEO consultant does the whole job and sends you a one-page report. Rolling, cancel any month. Book the 30-minute call and I will tell you what your site actually needs.

What a month includes.
- Content pages, properlyResearched pages that answer questions your buyers actually ask, written to be read by people and quoted by machines. How many a month depends on the site and the market: a local trade needs fewer than a firm in a crowded one. Not 500-word blog posts. Not AI-generated filler.
- Links, earned and boughtThe pages are written to earn links on their own. Where a paid placement on a relevant, real site is worth it, I buy it out of the month's fee and show you where it landed. No farms, no networks.
- The technical sweepCore Web Vitals, crawl errors, broken links, redirects, structured data, sitemap, robots, llms.txt. Fixed, not listed in a report for you to fix.
- The AI-visibility layerAnswer-first structure, FAQ and article schema, named authorship, sources and figures that are easy to cite, an llms.txt kept current. The things that decide whether ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews name you.
- Existing pages sharpenedThe pages already ranking on page two get a rewrite of their titles, openings and internal links before I write anything new.
- Search Console watchedIndexing, coverage and query movement checked weekly. If Google stops indexing something, you hear about it from me, not from a dip in enquiries.
- One page of reportClicks, impressions, position, what changed, what shipped, which links landed, what is next. Plain English, once a month.
- Not includedPaid ads, social media, and promises of rankings. Anyone selling the last one is guessing.

Why a few pages, done properly, beat ten.
Ten thin pages a month is what got the internet into its current state, and it is what Google has spent three years learning to ignore. A page that answers a real question with real figures, named and dated, is the unit of work that still moves. It ranks, it earns links, and it is what an AI answer engine reaches for when it needs a source. The links, earned and bought, are what get it noticed sooner.
The same discipline applies to this site. The essays in Writing are the method applied to my own business, and the Search Console data behind them is what I will show you on the call.
Cited by ChatGPT inside thirty days.

On 23 April 2026 I published the website-cost guide on this site: dated, sourced, answer-first, with the estimator in it. By 15 May ChatGPT was listing it as a source for "how much does a website cost in the UK", between two sites that had been publishing on the subject for years. One page, three weeks, no agency.
It is not cited today, and I would rather tell you that than crop the date off the screenshot. I stopped working on that page over the summer to build client sites, and the citation went with it. That is the whole argument for a rolling month rather than a one-off project: in AI answers the visibility is the work, and it stops when the work stops.
The method that got it there is the one every month runs on: a page that answers the exact question, with the facts an answer engine can lift, kept current. What it looks like across a whole county is below.
What invisible looks like, counted.
I asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode for the best accountants, solicitors, recruiters, IT support firms, architects and estate agents in Suffolk, 120 times per sector, and matched every firm named against every firm on Google Maps. 304 of 1,253 were ever named. 949 — 76% — never were. In IT support companies, five firms took 75% of everything AI Mode said.
The named firms have three things: review volume, a listing in the one directory their sector's engine reads, and a site that says what they do and where in the first sentence. The third is a website job. The first two are this service.
