Technical SEO services, fixed by the person who builds sites.

Technical SEO services for UK small businesses: I find what stops your site being crawled, indexed and ranked, then fix it, from £500 a month, rolling.

What does technical SEO include?

Everything that decides whether search engines can find, read and trust your pages: crawling and indexing, page speed and Core Web Vitals, redirects and broken links, canonical tags, the sitemap and robots file, schema, how the site works on a phone, and what AI crawlers are allowed to read.

None of it is visible to a visitor, and all of it decides whether the pages they never find were worth writing. The free audit checks 38 of these in about a minute.

How much do technical SEO services cost?

Month one of the SEO service, from £500, is the fix list done and reported. One month and stop is allowed. After that, the technical upkeep is part of every month, alongside the pages and the links.

Agencies quote £300 to £2,000 for an audit document, and the fixing is quoted on top. Mine is the other way round: the audit is free, and the money pays for the fixes. Full figures are on SEO pricing.

How do I know if my site has technical problems?

Run the free audit: one URL, about sixty seconds, no email, and every finding renders on the page. Then check Search Console for pages that are "crawled, currently not indexed".

The usual suspects on a small business site: pages missing from Google, a slow mobile load, redirect chains after a redesign, the same title on ten pages, and AI crawlers blocked without anyone deciding to.

Will fixing it improve my rankings?

Fixing removes what holds a site back. It does not make thin pages rank, and anyone who says a technical fix alone will get you to page one is selling.

If the problem turns out to be the content or the links, I say so, and that is the rest of the SEO service. Often the biggest win is simply getting pages that already exist into the index.

Can you fix it on my platform?

I fix what each platform allows. Webflow I can edit directly. On WordPress, Wix or Squarespace I say on the first call which fixes are possible, because a theme or a plugin sometimes blocks the one that matters.

When the platform itself is the problem, the honest answer is a migration: the same pages and addresses on a fast site you own, with every redirect in place.

Has it worked before?

I ran a defensive SEO audit on this site on 29 September 2026: a full crawl, a ten-step checklist, and the fixes shipped and logged. Every site I build launches with Core Web Vitals passing and the sitemap, schema and llms.txt in place.

The result that work is for: my website-cost guide appeared in ChatGPT's sources 22 days after it was published. Pages that can be read get cited.

Questions people ask about technical SEO.

Are you a technical SEO agency? No, I am one person: a freelance SEO consultant who also builds sites, so the fixes are made by someone who writes the code. No account manager, no hand-off to a developer.
How much do technical SEO services cost? Month one of the SEO service, from £500, is the fix list done and reported. One month and stop is allowed. The audit that finds the problems is free.
What is the difference between your audit and technical SEO? The audit finds the problems: 38 checks, free, in about a minute. Technical SEO is the fixing, and then keeping it fixed as the site changes.
Can you fix a WordPress site? Usually. I fix what the platform allows, and where a theme or plugin blocks a fix I say so on the first call. Sometimes the honest answer is a migration.
Will technical SEO get me to page one? Not on its own, and nobody honest promises it. It removes what holds a site back. Rankings then depend on the pages and the links, which is the rest of the SEO service.
Is there a contract? No. The SEO service is rolling and you can stop at the end of any month by email.
