SEO audit service, where the audit is the free part.

An SEO audit service in two halves. The audit is free: one URL in, sixty seconds, a score across technical SEO, on-page, performance, indexability and AI visibility, and no email needed to see it. The second half is the part most audits leave as a PDF: the fixes, done, in month one of the SEO service from £500. One month and stop is allowed.

About 60 seconds. The whole report, fixes included, renders on the page.

What the audit checks.

  • Technical SEO · 30%HTTPS and redirects, canonical tags, status codes, doctype, and legacy tech that search engines have stopped tolerating. If this is red, nothing below it matters yet.
  • On-page · 30%Title and meta description, one H1 and a sensible H2 structure, alt text, internal links, content depth, and whether the schema on the page matches what is visible on it.
  • Performance · 20%Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights, mobile first: Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, interaction and blocking time, page weight, render-blocking resources. Real Google data, not a guess.
  • Indexability · 10%Noindex tags left on by mistake, self-referencing canonicals, whether Google actually has the page in its index, and URL structure. The quiet killer: a site that is perfect and not indexed.
  • AI visibility · 10%Whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and CCBot are allowed in, whether an llms.txt exists, answer-ready schema, question-format headings, and enough citable depth for an answer engine to quote.
  • What it cannot tell youHow you rank, who links to you, what your competitors do, or why visitors leave without enquiring. Those need Search Console, a backlink index and a conversation. The score removes the excuses; it does not do the work.

A technical SEO audit service, where the fixing is included.

Most technical SEO audit services end in a document. Forty pages, a traffic-light per issue, and a quote for the work on the last page. The document is the product. The site is still slow.

Here the document is free and the month is the work. Core Web Vitals brought under the line on mobile, crawl errors and broken links cleared, redirects mapped, canonicals and structured data corrected, sitemap and robots and llms.txt right, the AI crawlers let in where they should be, and the pages Google has stopped indexing found and resubmitted. Then the report says what changed and what the score is now. Every site I build ships at this standard on launch day; the audit exists because most sites were not built that way.

What the rest of the month includes

The fixes are month one. Month two is your call.

There is no separate audit product to buy. The audit is free, the fix list is free, and the work is the first month of the SEO service, scoped on the call and written down before it starts. If the site is small and the list is short, the month also starts on the pages and the links. If the list is long, the month is the list. How the pricing works.

Questions people ask about SEO audits.

What does the SEO audit check?Five areas, weighted: technical SEO at 30% (HTTPS, redirects, canonical, status codes, doctype, legacy tech), on-page at 30% (title, meta description, H1 and H2 structure, alt text, internal links, content depth, schema), performance at 20% (Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights: LCP, CLS, INP or TBT, page weight, render-blocking), indexability at 10% (noindex, self-referencing canonical, presence in Google's index, URL structure) and AI visibility at 10% (llms.txt, whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and CCBot are allowed in, answer-ready schema, question-format headings, citable depth).
How much does an SEO audit cost in the UK?Agencies charge £300 to £2,000 for a one-off audit document, and the document is usually where it ends. Mine is free, because the audit is the easy part and I would rather you saw the score before we speak. The work is the fixing: from £500 for a month of the SEO service, which starts with everything the audit found.
Is a free SEO audit any good?Depends what it measures. Most free audits are a lead form with a traffic-light graphic. This one runs the same checks I run on day one of a build: live Google PageSpeed data, a live crawl of the page, a check against Google's index, and a read of your robots.txt and llms.txt. What it cannot tell you is how you rank, who links to you, or why visitors do not enquire. Those need Search Console and a conversation, and that is what the call is for.
What is technical SEO?Everything that decides whether Google and the AI engines can fetch, read, index and trust the site before the words are even considered: speed, Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, redirects, canonicals, structured data, sitemap, robots, indexing, and now whether the AI crawlers are let in. A site that fails this is invisible however good the copy. It is the first thing fixed in any month I work on.
Do you fix what the audit finds?Yes. That is the point of the page. The fix list is on the report itself, in priority order, and the first month of the SEO service is those fixes, done, with the report showing what changed. If you would rather fix them yourself or hand the list to your developer, the list is yours either way — save it as a PDF and nothing is asked of you.
Can you audit a WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site? The audit runs on any public URL. The fixing depends on the platform: WordPress, yes, usually; Wix and Squarespace expose so little of the code that half the technical list cannot be done, and I will tell you which half on the call rather than take a month's fee to find out.
Can I have one month of fixes and then stop?Yes. The SEO service is rolling with no contract, and stopping at the end of any month by email includes the first. Most people carry on once the report shows what moved, but that is a decision for month two, not a condition of month one.
Does a good audit score mean I will rank? No. It means nothing is stopping you. Ranking is the pages, the links and the reviews, which is the rest of the month. A 95 with three thin pages ranks below a 70 with the page that answers the question. The audit removes the excuses, not the work.

The score is free. The fixing is the job.

Run the audit first. Then, if the list is longer than you want to deal with, the call is free too, and I will tell you what month one would cost and what it would fix.
