AI pricing, with the number in it.
AI consultancy is mostly sold by the day or by the month, and the number depends on who you ask. Mine is £500, one flat fee, because the job has an end: once your business is written down, the tool is set up with it and your team has used it in front of me, it is yours. This page is what the £500 covers, what sits in your own accounts instead, and what a bigger build looks like if you want one afterwards.

What £500 buys.
- The source of truthOne document, written with you in a sitting of about two hours: who you are for, what you sell and for how much, how you talk, what you will not say, the proof you can use. It is the thing that stops AI output sounding like everyone else's, and it is yours in a format any tool can read.
- The tool, set upYour LLM of choice configured with the source of truth as its standing instructions, in your own account. Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini; if you already pay for one, that one.
- Skills and promptsSaved instructions for the jobs you actually repeat: the weekly post, the enquiry reply, the follow-up email, the case study from a client's notes. Each one tested on real material from your business before handover.
- The automations that fitWhere a job can run without you, it is wired to: a form that drafts the reply, a transcript that becomes a post. Only the ones that earn their place; nothing built to look clever.
- The way of workingOne page that says what the tool does, what a human still decides, and the review step before anything customer-facing goes out. Written so a new hire could follow it.
- The handoverA call where you produce something usable with it yourself before we hang up: a post, an email, a reply, in your voice. Not finished until that has happened.
- Not includedThe tool subscriptions, which sit in your accounts at cost. Replacing your judgement. And bigger builds, which are scoped as sprints after.
What a bigger build costs, and how it is quoted.
The £500 sets AI up inside the marketing you already do. Some businesses then want it to do more: every web enquiry qualified and answered in the right voice before anyone reads it, a CRM that fills itself in from calls, a content pipeline that turns one conversation into a month of posts. That is a build, not a set-up, and it is priced as one.
It is scoped after the set-up, once we both know what the business actually uses, as one or more sprints. Each sprint has a fixed number and a date, agreed in writing before it starts, the same way a website is. Nothing is added to the £500 without you seeing the figure first, and nothing is built that I think you will not use.
Questions people ask before paying for the set-up.
£500, flat. Then it is yours.
The call is free. I ask what the team does every week that a well-briefed tool could do the first draft of, say whether the £500 set-up is worth it for you, and if it is not, I say that.
